Önceki turdaki Tobol maçlarının aksine, tam kadroya yakın bir ekiple İsrail'e giden sarı kırmızılıların teknik patronu Tel Aviv'de düzenlediği basın toplantısında, ‘'O zaman onlar benimle beraberdi, onlarla oynamak zorundaydım. Şimdi milli takımlardan gelenler şanslarını kullanacaklar. Tobol maçında hazır olmayanların, antrenmanlarda maksimum seviyeye gelmeleri için uğraştık. Bu maçta onları sahada görebiliriz'' diye konuştu.
Küçüklerle oynamak zor
Hollandalı teknik adam, basın toplantısında yalnızca Keita'nın fiyatının tüm Netanya takımından pahalı olduğunun hatırlatılması üzerine, şöyle konuştu:
‘'Bu tip maçların hep zor geçtiğini görürüz. Küçük takımlar, büyük rakiplere karşı daha fazla hırslanıp, motive olurlar. Burada iyi bir sonuç alabilmek için kendimizi hazırlamalıyız. Önemli olan, deplasmanda iyi bir sonuç alarak evimize dönmek.''
Öte yandan sarı kırmızılıların dün maçın oynanacağı sahada yaptığı idmanı izlemek üzere stada gelen Başkanımız Adnan Polat, ana girişi bulamayınca ancak çalışmanın sonlarına doğru yerini alabildi.

ELANO GALATASARAY'DA
FLAŞ! FLAŞ! Galatasaray, Manchester City'nin Brezilyalı yıldızı Elano Blumer'le 4 yıllık sözleşme imzaladı. Elano ile yapılan sözleşme, Galatasaray Kulübü'nün resmi internet sitesinden duyuruldu.28 yaşındaki Elano, orta sahada hücuma yönelik görev yapabilen, her iki ayağına da hakim, uzaktan etkili şutlar atabilen ve gerektiğinde orta sahanın farklı mevkilerinde oynayabilen bir isim.Mevkisinde Kaka, Ronaldinho, Diego, Juninho gibi isimler olmasına karşın tam 35 kez Brezilya Milli Takım forması giyen Elano, 6 gol kaydetti.Disiplinli futbolunu tekniğiyle birleştirebilen ender Brezilyalılar'dan birisi olan yıldız futbolcu, Manchester City'den önce Shakthar Donetsk ve Santos takımlarında forma giydi.

Brazilian Elano Blumer (28) has signed a four-year contract with Galatasaray. Elano started his professional football career at Santos in 2001. After four years he was transferred to Ukrainian Shakthar Donetsk and played until 2007, when he joined Manchester City. In his international career with the Brazilian national team he has so far played 35 games and scored six goals.Elano will be arriving in Istanbul on Friday, July 31.

Turkcell Super League Draw
Turkcell Super League draw took place on July 7 in Istanbul. Super league kicks off on August 7 and ends on May 9 2010. The season break starting on December 20 lasts till January 24. The 2009-2010 season’s opening game is going to be played between Galatasaray and Gaziantepspor at Gaziantep on Friday August 7. Galatasaray is playing its first derby against Beşiktaş in Week 5. The first derby game against Fenerbahçe is at Kadıköy in Week 10.

G.Saray 1-0 Casablanca
Zayton Cup'ta ikinci maçlar bugün oynandı. Galatasaray'ın yanı sıra Almanya'dan Bayer Leverkusen, Mısır'dan Al Ahly Kairo ve Fas'tan Wydad Athletic Club Casablanca'nın katıldığı turnuvada Galatasarayımız, Wydad Casablanca takımını 1-0 mağlup etti.
Almanya'da düzenlenen organizasyonda Bochum'daki Lohrheidestadion'da oyanan karşılaşmada takımımıza galibiyeti getiren golü 43. dakikada Emre Çolak kaydetti. Ceza alanı dışından sol ayağıyla şık bir vuruş yapan Emre topu ağlara gönderdi.
Galatasarayımız, turnuvanın ilk maçında da Mısır ekibi Al Ahly'yi Barış Özbek'in penaltı golüyle 1-0 mağlup etmişti.
Günün diğer maçında ise Bayer Leverkusen, Al Ahly'yi 2-0 mağlup etti.

Video: McLaren F1 vs. Bugatti Veyron
Best part of the show was a one-mile drag race in Abu Dhabi between Stig and Richard Hammond. Stig was driving the amazing McLaren F1 and Hammond picked a red Veyron.
These two cars are some of the rarest and most expensive cars in the world. Only 64 road going McLaren F1’s were built between 1992–1998. Veyron is still in production and limited to 300 units.
F1 packs 627 hp from a 6.1-liter BMW sourced V12 and the Veyron has 1001 hp from a 16-cylinder quad-turbo engine. Even though Veyron has more power it also weighs 748 kg (1,647 lbs) more.

I hope the money goes to the kids, as I hold these two O2 tickets. For his 50 date tour less than 50 days away so from his death at 50 wish he had 50 days more but never got half, pasted on the 25th of June and we should remember this day as his.
I believe he never left and he would never leave, never been a legend that lived that can ever breathe, never been a martyr that fought that can forever bleed, never been a leader that walked, that can forever lead, God will give him to us same God will to take him from us. Now he’s in his rightful place cause he was so heavenly. All for one and one for all he made a song for all, so I put a copy of his “Off The Wall” on the wall.
My town misses him, your town misses him, everybody since motown misses him. Now when you think of him picture him standing on a stage with his hand up one glove glistening, whole world at a standstill listening anticipating his next move the King is him.

The University of Wolverhampton has made the decision to withdraw from privately organised league tables run by national newspapers.
"These tables disadvantage universities such as Wolverhampton and do not represent a fair picture of our strengths. There are many published assessments of our performance."
Well to be honest, Wolverhampton University wouldn't even be in this "league table" because they would of got relegated a long time ago, this is how poor the education service is at this university.
Being at this university for 3 years, studying Architectural Design Technology (BSc Honours), I have not experienced the full "UNiVERSiTY LiFE".
Why you may ask? simple as...Of the 3 years that i have been there, sitting in classrooms that look like College classrooms, i haven't taken in the full information needed for this course.
As a Student, Paying £3000 a year, would want to take the university services to a full advantage, and use it fully, to take in as much information as possible, to actually "PAY" for my printing which has probably added up to £1000 over the 3 years. I don't want to pay £3000 to SELF TEACH MYSELF! if that was the case i wouldn't of gone to university and just studied at home and applied for work experience. Not one day have i sat in a American design lecture theatre and taken in knowledge. . . If i actually wanted to be so UNSUCCESSFUL i would of applied for a university that was worse than the one I attended..
"The quality of our teaching and learning is assessed by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), which reviews all UK higher education institutions. Following our recent QAA Audit, we received a glowing report which found ‘broad confidence’ (the highest level of commendation) in the University’s academic standards and the quality of the learning experience... We were also praised for outstanding support for students"
"Assessed by the QAA"..WTH...are they blind? were they bribed, because if OFSTED caught this university off guard, they would of shut long before it could raise its shutters and allow students in. Students come from all over the world to be educated fully for the amount of money that they are giving to the government. IF the government increase tuition fees, which more likely they will, then i doubt any person would want to attend Wolverhampton or any other university that doesn't help."We were also praised for outstanding support for students" - I DON'T THINK SO! Again they must of bribed. . . because i haven't had the full "SUPPORT" they have so called talked about.
"The most recent National Student Survey rated Wolverhampton as one of the best in the country for the quality of its learning resources and access to specialist equipment." - THiS iS A JOKE RiGHT?
